Ilia Topuria 2024 Topps Chrome UFC #77: the base card and every parallel
Card #77 of 2024 Topps Chrome UFC is Ilia Topuria's base card in the Chrome set that marked Topps' return to the UFC, and here it is with its whole rainbow: we have catalogued 18 versions of that number, from the base to the SuperFractor 1/1, with the official odds of every colour in Hobby, Breaker's Delight, Mega and Value. 18 have a photo of the actual copy.
Ilia Topuria is #77 in the 200-card base set of 2024 Topps Chrome UFC: the set size comes from the product rundown on Topps' blog (archived copy) and the number is printed on the back of our copy. It went on sale on 20 March 2024, per the same rundown, and was the first Topps Chrome UFC since 2019, per Checklist Insider, a secondary source. This page does not repeat the set page: it gathers the whole rainbow of that number.
Front: a vertical card with Ilia Topuria in the Octagon, shouting, tattooed torso and UFC gloves; below, his name and the division: “Featherweight”.
Back: the number 77, his listed measurements (5'7", 145 lbs), “Fighting out of: Alicante, Spain” and a text recalling the six straight wins that opened his UFC career and took him into the featherweight top five, and the 152 significant strikes with which he beat Josh Emmett by unanimous decision, his first Fight of the Night bonus after back-to-back Performance of the Night bonuses. We read it on the photographed back of our copy.
No rookie logo: his rookie cards are Panini's from 2022, gathered in Ilia Topuria rookie cards. What changes from one colour to the next is the chrome finish and, on numbered cards, the print run.
Which parallels come from which box
The official odds sheet separates Hobby, Breaker's Delight, Mega and Value (the last two with versions for different retail chains), and not every colour comes from every box:
Hobby only: Magenta Refractor (1:3), Negative Refractor (1:3) and Purple Refractor (1:4), all three unnumbered.
Value only: Sepia Refractor, 1:2 packs. Mega only: X-Fractor, one per pack.
Refractor and Prism: the Refractor comes from every box (1:3; 1:1 in Breaker); the Prism Refractor, 1:6 in Hobby, Mega and Value, but not in Breaker.
The numbered ladder, from Speckle /299 to SuperFractor 1/1, comes from Hobby, Breaker and Mega, never from Value.
The #77 ladder: odds in Hobby · Breaker · Mega
Odds per pack and for any fighter, from the official sheet (for Mega, the Hobby Direct column; the retail ones barely differ); print runs from Topps' blog, matching the serial numbers on our copies:
The fewest copies belong to the SuperFractor 1/1, listed among Ilia Topuria SuperFractors; next comes the Red /5.
For any fighter, a base SuperFractor turns up on average once every 226 Hobby boxes, per the per-box column of the official sheet. With 200 cards in the base set, Ilia Topuria's own turns up once every 541,000 Hobby packs, about 45,000 boxes: our estimate, assuming an even split among the 200.
Breaker's Delight is almost all numbered: the sheet gives the same odds per pack as per box, so its box is a single pack (our reading), with a Speckle /299 in each one. Mega is the hardest box for numbered cards: there the SuperFractor runs at 1:15,066 packs, five and a half times longer than in Hobby, in exchange for an X-Fractor in every pack.
Four numbered cards per Hobby box: Topps' blog promises in each one, across 12 packs of 8 cards, 2 autographs, 24 Refractors, 20 unnumbered base parallels and 4 numbered ones.
Common mix-ups
Purple, Magenta and Negative carry no number: they are unnumbered, Hobby-exclusive parallels.
The Negative is 1:3 on the official sheet; Topps' blog rundown says 1:2. We give the odds sheet figure.
Ilia Topuria's other Chrome base cards
The #77 starts the run: in 2025 Topps Chrome UFC his base card is #43 and in 2026 #1, both with longer ladders and box-exclusive families.
