Ilia Topuria Brick by Brick: 2024 Topps Chrome UFC
We have catalogued 6 versions of Ilia Topuria's Brick by Brick #BYB-2, the 2024 Topps Chrome UFC insert found only in Mega and Value boxes. 5 have a photo of the actual copy.
Brick by Brick is a 20-card insert in 2024 Topps Chrome UFC about fighters building their careers brick by brick. Ilia Topuria is #BYB-2, per the official Topps checklist, right after Tom Aspinall (#BYB-1); the set closes with Sean O'Malley (#BYB-20).
Design: Ilia Topuria in his stance, gloves at chest height, in front of a whitewashed brick wall; “BRICK BY BRICK” runs vertically on the left and, at the bottom, his name, “Featherweight” and a UFC fist in a white octagon. We see it in the photos of our copies.
Back: it says he needed less than three years in the Octagon to headline his first main event, the June 2023 UFC Fight Night against Josh Emmett, which ended like his previous five fights, with his hand raised: a unanimous decision, the second of his fights to go the distance. We read it on the back photo of our copy.
Which box it comes from: Mega and Value only
Like Fired Up, Brick by Brick has no odds in Hobby or Breaker's Delight on the official odds sheet. One falls per Mega box and one every 2 Value boxes; per pack, 1:6 in Mega and 1:12 in Value.
With 20 names, Ilia Topuria's BYB-2 turns up on average once every 20 Mega boxes or 40 Value boxes. Our estimate, assuming an even split among the twenty.
So although it falls slightly less often per pack than Fired Up, Ilia Topuria's BYB-2 is a little easier to find: the insert has five fewer names.
