We have catalogued 2 Ilia Topuria FrozenFractors, the five-copy, negatively numbered Topps Chrome UFC refractor, from 2025 and 2026. 2 have a photo of the actual copy.
The FrozenFractor is an ice-finish refractor Topps unveiled at its 2023 industry conference and debuted that year in Topps Chrome baseball, as Cardlines reports. Its trademark is negative numbering: each card has five copies, numbered -5/0 to -1/0.
Five copies, not one. Despite the “/0”, it is not a 1/1: it is a run of five with a below-zero number.
A parallel of the base card. Image and number are the base card's; the finish and serial change.
Hobby exclusive. In Chrome UFC it only comes from hobby boxes.
Ilia Topuria's FrozenFractors
2025 Topps Chrome UFC, #43: Topps lists it as “FrozenFractor Variation”, 1 in 455 hobby packs, per the official odds sheet. Every other configuration is blank.
2026 Topps Chrome UFC, #1: “FrozenFractors (#'d -5, -4, -3, -2, -1)”, 1 in 529 hobby packs, per the official odds sheet. That year Ilia Topuria is card number 1 of the base set.
The odds are per pack and for the whole parallel: Ilia Topuria's FrozenFractor specifically is much harder than that figure.
How to recognise it
The serial on the back carries a minus sign: -5/0, -4/0, -3/0, -2/0 or -1/0. A positive “/5” is another parallel, such as the Red Refractor.
The background is a refractor with an ice motif, unlike the Wave ripples or the SuperFractor's gold swirl.
