We have catalogued 4 versions of Ilia Topuria's Hidden Gems #HGS-2, the shortest and scarcest insert in 2025 Topps Chrome UFC. 3 have a photo of the actual copy; 1 we have not seen yet.
Hidden Gems is the shortest insert in 2025 Topps Chrome UFC: five cards, Alex Pereira, Ilia Topuria (#HGS-2), Bo Nickal, Islam Makhachev and Alexa Grasso, per the official Topps checklist.
Design: a background of cut gemstones in green, with the title spelled out in coloured gems. Ilia Topuria stands in his guard, gloves up.
Back: it recalls the UFC Fight Night against Josh Emmett, the first UFC event he headlined: he won a unanimous decision with 152 significant strikes and three takedowns, shared the Fight of the Night bonus with his opponent and went 6-0. The title against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298 came next.
Weight class: “Featherweight”.
Why it is so hard to pull
Topps does not publish its odds: Hidden Gems is on the official checklist but has no row on the odds sheet for any format. Nobody officially knows what it takes to pull one.
Our catalogue lists it as an “ultra-exclusive” SSP, and the market treats it as a case hit, a card that turns up about once per case of boxes. That is the market's reading, not a Topps figure.
We do not know which formats it comes from. The odds sheet, which spreads the other inserts across Hobby, Breaker's Delight, Value and Mega, does not mention it.
Its parallels
Topps does not publish the ladder. According to Checklist Insider's checklist with print runs, a secondary source, the colours are named after gems, matching what we have catalogued:
Hidden Gems, unnumbered: the insert's regular card.
Citrine Orange /10: the orange of citrine.
Alexandrite Blue /5: the blue of alexandrite.
Painite Red 1/1: painite, one of the rarest gems known, for the single copy. It is the one we have not seen yet.
Worth knowing
Five cards, four versions of Ilia Topuria's: the shortest insert in the set and Ilia Topuria's only one without published odds.
