Ilia Topuria 2022 Panini Immaculate UFC #76: the base card and every parallel
Card #76 is Ilia Topuria's in 2022 Panini Immaculate UFC, Panini's highest tier in his rookie year, and here it is with its whole rainbow: we have catalogued 5 versions, from the /49 base to the Platinum 1/1. 5 have a photo of the actual copy.
Ilia Topuria is #76 of the 100 base cards in 2022 Panini Immaculate UFC, between Andrei Arlovski (#75) and Robbie Lawler (#77), and the whole base set is numbered /49, per the Checklistcenter checklist (a secondary source). It is his only card in the product: he is not in its autograph or memorabilia sets.
Front: standing, barefoot, arms down, in red UFC shorts, over red and silver arcs; the RC logo top left, “Immaculate Collection” top right with the serial number running vertically below it, and “Featherweight” above his name. Per the photo of our /49 copy.
Back: “No. 76” and a paragraph saying he competes like a man with little time to waste: after winning his UFC debut by unanimous decision, he reeled off three straight finishes, two in the first round and the third 67 seconds into the second. Per the photographed back of our copy.
That third one is the KO of Jai Herbert, at 1:07 of round two on 19 March 2022, per the official UFC event page. The back counts four UFC wins: it stops short of the Bryce Mitchell fight in December.
A rookie-year card released in 2023
2022 Immaculate UFC carries its year in the name, but it arrived in February 2023: on the 15th per Cardboard Connection and on the 1st per Checklistcenter, both secondary sources. It is the last of his 2022 sets to come out; the full order is in Ilia Topuria in 2022.
It carries a printed RC logo and is a base card from his rookie year. Which card is his rookie card, and why, is explained in Ilia Topuria rookie cards.
Which box the #76 comes from
An Immaculate box is a single 6-card pack with 3 autographs and 2 memorabilia cards on average, per Panini's official sell sheet. Since the Checklistcenter checklist lists no inserts without a signature or swatch, the sixth card should be the base or one of its parallels: our inference, as Panini does not spell it out.
Panini published no odds. With one base card per box and 100 numbers in the base set, the #76, in any colour, turns up on average once every 100 boxes: our estimate, assuming an even spread across the hundred.
The #76 ladder, from most to fewest copies
Print runs from the Checklistcenter checklist, a secondary source, matching our catalogue and the numbering on our copies:
Base /49: “Black/Red/White” on our list; silver foil and a vertical serial number.
Red /25 · Gold /10 · Green /5.
Platinum 1/1: blue foil and “One of One” instead of a number, per the photo of our copy.
The print runs add up to 90 copies of the #76 across the five colours.
What gets mixed up
There is no unnumbered #76: even the most common version carries its serial number.
It is not the 2023 Immaculate UFC #47: that is another card, with a /50 base, 30th Anniversary /30 and Purple /3.
