Ilia Topuria 2022 Panini Donruss Optic UFC Rated Rookie #110: the base card and every parallel
Rated Rookie #110 is Ilia Topuria's base card in 2022 Donruss Optic UFC, from his rookie year and with the logo printed on it, and here it is in every colour: we have catalogued 18 versions, from the base to the Gold Vinyl 1/1. 17 have a photo of the actual copy.
2022 Optic UFC Rated Rookie #110: what the card shows
Ilia Topuria is #110, one of the 20 Rated Rookies (#101 to #120) in the 125-card base set of 2022 Donruss Optic UFC, per Checklist Center and Cardsmiths (secondary sources). Panini's official checklist for this product is empty: the number rests on those sources and on the actual cards.
Front: standing with his arms crossed, his surname on his red shorts, the Rated Rookie logo at the top left and the Optic logo at the bottom right.
A rookie with the logo, not the first one: Optic came out after Prizm, Donruss, Select and Chronicles; by release order his rookie is the Prizm #115, as told in Ilia Topuria rookie cards.
The #110 ladder, from most to fewest copies
Panini published neither odds nor per-player print runs. The base parallels are those of Checklist Center (secondary), and the print runs match the numbering on our copies:
Unnumbered: the base (our “White”), Blue Velocity, Silver Holo, Purple and Photon Holo; and as short prints, the White Sparkle and the Black Pandora.
Numbered: Red /199, Blue /99, Pink Velocity /79, Purple Velocity /59, Orange /49, Black Velocity /39, Pink /25 and Gold /10.
The shortest: Black Pandora /8, Green /5 and the Gold Vinyl 1/1.
An open discrepancy: our list has a Black Pandora /8 besides the unnumbered Black Pandora. Checklist Center has no numbered Black Pandora and lists a Lucky Envelopes /8 that we have not catalogued. We keep what our record says and are reviewing it.
Which box each colour comes from
Hobby: 20 packs of 4 cards, with 1 autograph and 20 inserts or parallels per box on average, per Panini's official sell sheet. The same sell sheet marks the Rated Rookies' Black Velocity, Gold and Gold Vinyl as Hobby exclusives and highlights the “ultra-rare” Black Pandoras.
White Sparkle: it did not come from boxes. Panini handed it out in packs only for members of its 2022 Instant Access Club UFC Edition, per the official announcement (archived copy), which lists “Optic White Sparkle” among the new packs.
The rest: Panini did not publish which format Blue Velocity, Purple Velocity or Photon come from; we do not claim it without a source.
Worth knowing
Velocity is a family, not a rung: unnumbered Blue Velocity, Pink Velocity /79, Purple Velocity /59 and Black Velocity /39.
Two Pinks and two Purples: Pink Velocity /79 and Pink /25; unnumbered Purple and Purple Velocity /59.
No autograph of #110: Ilia Topuria is not in the 15-card Rated Rookies Signatures, per Cardsmiths (secondary).
