A case hit is a card so scarce that it comes on average about once per case, the distributor box that holds several boxes of packs. Topps does not print the term on its odds sheets; it uses it in its product guides. An example with its numbers: in 2024 Topps Chrome UFC a case is 12 boxes of 12 packs, per the official spotlight, and the UFC Fight Night insert falls 1 in 145 Hobby packs, per the odds sheet: roughly one per case.

2024 Topps Chrome UFC: UFC Fight Night and Let's Go
Topps lists five “Case Hit Inserts” in its 2024 Chrome UFC spotlight: UFC Fight Night, Let's Go!, Spitting Venom, Kings & Queens and Energized. Ilia Topuria is in two, both unnumbered Refractors, in 2024 Topps Chrome UFC:
UFC Fight Night #UFN-4: 1:145 Hobby packs (1:13 boxes) and 1:13 in Breaker's Delight, per the official sheet.
Let's Go #LGO-14: 1:433 Hobby packs (1:37 boxes) and 1:37 in Breaker's Delight. With 144 packs per case, that is one every three cases, any fighter: our estimate.
2024 Topps Gold Label UFC: Art of Fighting
Topps names Gold Splatter, Reigning Gold and Art of Fighting as “SP case-hit inserts” of 2024 Gold Label UFC in its product guide. Ilia Topuria's is Art of Fighting - Boxing #AOF-9, at 1:112 Hobby packs per the official sheet.
Topps credits Kings and Queens and Helix with “case-hit level rarity” in its Chrome UFC history. In 2026 Topps Chrome UFC, Ilia Topuria is Helix #HX-1 (10 cards) and Kings and Queens #KQ-10 (20 cards), per the official checklist.
Helix: 1:1,554 Hobby packs, 1:81 Breaker's Delight, 1:9,558 Value and 1:1,914 Mega; the SuperFractor 1/1, 1:155,393 Hobby, per the official sheet. The HX-1 base, one every 15,540 Hobby packs: our estimate.
Kings and Queens: 1:72 Hobby packs, about twenty times more common than Helix. KQ-10, one every 1,440 packs: our estimate.
Note, Topps contradicts itself: its 2026 Chrome UFC guide calls Kings and Queens “a 20-card insert” and names Let's Go as the case hit of the year; Ilia Topuria is not in the 2026 Let's Go.
Topps Midnight: Twilight, Neon Apex and Last One Standing
“Twilight is a Midnight UFC case-hit insert”, says Topps in its Midnight UFC history, and its 2026 Midnight guide adds Neon Apex, “Last Man Standing” and Cemented. The odds sheet and the back of our copy read “Last One Standing”.
Twilight #TL-13 from 2025 Midnight: 1:52 packs, Daybreak /5 1:213 and Black Light 1/1 1:1,062, per the official sheet. With 20 cards, the base comes once every 1,040 packs: our estimate.
From 2026 Midnight, per the official sheet: Twilight #TL-12 1:48 · 1:222 · 1:1,109; Neon Apex #NA-1 1:38 · 1:178 · 1:887; Last One Standing #LO-20 1:32 · 1:148 · 1:740 (base, Daybreak /5 and Black Light 1/1).
Do not confuse the Twilight insert with the Twilight /99 parallel of the Midnight base: the insert carries a TL number.
What is not included
2025 Chrome Helix and Kings & Queens (1:327 and 1:73 Hobby packs per the official sheet): we have not found Topps calling them case hits that year. Titans is called a “Retail case hit” by Checklist Insider, a secondary source.
2025 Chrome Hidden Gems: it has no published odds and no official source calls it a case hit in UFC; that is the market's reading.
2024 Finest Fight Glove Die-Cuts (1:120 Mega packs and 1:240 Value, official sheet) and 2026 Sapphire Infinite (1:80, official sheet): scarce, but without the Topps label. Nor 2025 Midnight Greetings From: the manufacturer copy reproduced by retailers and Checklist Insider, a secondary source, call it a case hit, but we have not found it on Topps Ripped; nor 2024 Chrome Youthquake, which Topps lists among the super short prints.
