Ilia Topuria All-World: 2023 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions
We have catalogued 12 versions of Ilia Topuria's All-World #AW-5, the blaster-exclusive insert in 2023 Goodwin Champions, including its two autographs. 12 have a photo of the actual copy.
Design: Ilia Topuria in his stance on a rainbow foil background with the “All World” logo at the bottom. Our “Rainbow” is the base card, which has no other name on the checklist.
Back: on the autographed versions, Upper Deck's certification text stating the signature is Ilia Topuria's, with the number AW-5, going by the backs we have photographed.
Which box it comes from: the blaster bonus pack
The Upper Deck store places All-World in the blaster's 5-card bonus pack (7 packs + 1 bonus). It is not in hobby and is not on the e-Pack checklist.
Store odds: base 1:9, Aqua 1:48, Yellow 1:80 and Autograph Gold 1:600. Upper Deck does not say whether they are per pack or per bonus pack.
The copy of the sell sheet on DA Card World (secondary) mentions one All-World per bonus pack, and Beckett (secondary) gives 1:1.4, 1:9 and 1:15 bonus packs and the Gold at 1:84.
With 15 names, Ilia Topuria's base card turns up once every 135 packs if the store figure is per pack, or once every 21 bonus packs (that is, 21 blasters) on Beckett's figure. Our estimates: the official unit is unclear.
The versions of AW-5
Base, Aqua and Yellow: unnumbered, with the odds above.
Numbered, per the Upper Deck store: Blue /499, Red /299, Neon Green /199, Orange /99, Green /25, Pink /10 and Purple 1/1.
Autograph Gold: unnumbered, 1:600 at the store. Checklistcenter (secondary) puts Ilia Topuria in group C, 1:99 bonus packs, which gives about 1:594 for his signature: our estimate.
Autograph Black 1/1, the top piece the Upper Deck store highlights.
Worth knowing
The Blue is /499, as the Upper Deck store says and real copies carry; the checklist distributed by GTS and Checklistcenter say /399, a typo.
