Ilia Topuria Platinum #P49: 2023 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions
We have catalogued 20 versions of Ilia Topuria's Platinum #P49, from the chromium variant of the base set in 2023 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions. 19 have a photo of the actual copy.
Goodwin Platinum is the chromium variant of the base set and of Splash of Color in 2023 Goodwin Champions: “each Platinum card is printed using chromium technology”, says the Upper Deck store. The family has 100 cards in three designs: 50 Platinum, 25 Horizontal and 25 Splash of Color, per the Upper Deck checklist distributed by GTS (secondary source). Ilia Topuria is #P49 in the Platinum subset, 50 cards on the official e-Pack checklist.
Design and back: chromium stock, Ilia Topuria in his stance and the word “Rookie” on the front. On the back of the Chameleon we have photographed: height 5'7" and weight 146 lbs, born 21 January 1997 in Halle (Westphalia), a write-up of his lightweight debut on 19 March 2022, when he knocked out Jai Herbert in round two to go 12-0, and the parallel name printed beside the serial number.
