Ilia Topuria AKA Ink #AKA-IT: 2025 Topps Knockout UFC
We have catalogued 3 versions of Ilia Topuria's AKA Ink #AKA-IT autograph, the 2025 Topps Knockout UFC signature that carries his nickname, “El Matador”. 3 have a photo of the actual copy.
AKA Ink is an 18-card autograph set in 2025 Topps Knockout UFC devoted to nicknames. Ilia Topuria is #AKA-IT, “El Matador”, per the official Topps checklist, which prints the nickname next to each name: Alexander Volkanovski “The Great”, Charles Oliveira “Do Bronxs”, Paddy Pimblett “The Baddy”, Jon Jones “Bones” and Amanda Nunes “The Lioness”.
Front: Ilia Topuria in his stance under the spotlights, with “AKA Ink” in graffiti lettering on the left and, running vertically on the right, “El Matador” beside his name and the Knockout crest. At the bottom, the signature in blue ink inside a white hexagonal panel, with “Topps Certified Autograph Issue”.
The nickname is printed: on our copies, “El Matador” is printed on the card and the signature does not repeat it.
Back: “Featherweight” and “AKA Ink Autograph card from 2025 Topps Knockout UFC”, with Topps's guarantee on the signature; no fight. We read it on the photographed back of our copy.
Three names from his career in the same set
2025 AKA Ink brings together three men linked to Ilia Topuria: Alexander Volkanovski, whom he beat at UFC 298 (his UFC 298 cards); Charles Oliveira, whom he beat at UFC 317 (his UFC 317 cards); and Paddy Pimblett, with whom he shares the Bitter Rivals booklet from the same box (his booklets).
From 2018 to 2025: the AKA Ink lineage
AKA Ink was born in 2018 Topps Knockout UFC, which Cardboard Connection (secondary source) describes as the debut of a signature set with top fighters' nicknames, and 2025 is its 5th appearance in MMA cards.
Not to be confused with plain “AKA”: 2025 Topps Chrome UFC has an unsigned AKA insert, 15 cards and without Ilia Topuria, per Checklist Insider (secondary source).
AKA-IT odds and print runs
Per-pack Hobby odds from the official sheet, where the set is listed as “A.K.A. Ink”; print runs from our catalogue, matching Checklist Insider (secondary source). In brackets, Ilia Topuria's card (our estimate, odds × 18):
AKA Ink /25: 1:194 (1:3,492).
Gold /8: 1:598 (1:10,764).
Platinum 1/1: 1:4,751 (1:85,518).
Why it can be estimated: on all three rungs, print run × odds × 18 gives between 85,500 and 87,300 packs, which is what you would expect if the 18 signers share the same runs. Our count.
Worth knowing
There is no unnumbered version: the most common is already /25; none of his other single autographs in 2025 Knockout starts that low: the 2012 Throwback Signatures #TB-IT begins at /99.
Signature type: we have not yet confirmed whether it is on-card or a sticker, so we do not state it.
