Ilia Topuria 2012 Throwback Signatures #TB-IT: 2025 Topps Knockout UFC
We have catalogued 4 versions of Ilia Topuria's 2012 Throwback Signatures #TB-IT autograph, the retro-styled signature of 2025 Topps Knockout UFC. 4 have a photo of the actual copy.
2012 Throwback Signatures is a 24-card autograph set in 2025 Topps Knockout UFC mixing legends and champions: Anderson Silva, Chuck Liddell, BJ Penn, Royce Gracie, Wanderlei Silva, José Aldo, Alexander Volkanovski and Sean O'Malley. Ilia Topuria is #TB-IT, per the official Topps checklist.
Front: Ilia Topuria in his stance, fists up, inside a black and gold Art Deco frame; below, “ILIA” in large letters and “TOPURIA”, and the signature in blue ink on a white marbled band, with “Topps Certified Autograph Issue” and the Knockout crest.
The colour is in the name: on our copies, “ILIA” is rainbow on the no-colour version, red on the Red and gold on the Gold, matching the border.
Back: “Featherweight” and “2012 Throwback Signatures Autograph Card from 2025 Topps Knockout UFC”, with the note that Topps witnesses the signing; no fight is told. From the photographed back of our copy.
What is 2012 about it?
The name promises a 2012 design, but no source says which one.Checklist Insider (secondary source) only says it travels back more than a decade for inspiration, and we do not name it without a source.
It is not Panini's: 2023 Panini Prizm UFC had an 8-card Throwback Signatures, per Cardsmiths (secondary source). Different maker, and we do not count it in this lineage.
Per-pack Hobby odds from the official sheet, for any of the 24; print runs from our catalogue and Checklist Insider (secondary source), which lists the set as “/99 or less”. In brackets, Ilia Topuria's card (our estimate, odds × 24):
No colour /99: 1:37. Our copy is 38/99.
Red /25: 1:144 (1:3,456).
Gold /8: 1:450 (1:10,800).
Platinum 1/1: 1:3,563 (1:85,512).
Why only the colours are estimated: on those three rungs every signer has the same run; on the no-colour version, at “/99 or less”, they do not, and splitting 1:37 among 24 would be guesswork.
Worth knowing
Here he is a featherweight: the back says “Featherweight”, while his Inception and Fight Mat Relics from the same box say “Lightweight”.
Signature type: Checklist Insider (secondary source) says the 2025 Knockout checklist is led by on-card autographs, but it does not break this down set by set; we have not yet confirmed whether this one is on-card or a sticker.
