Ilia Topuria Hype Machines #HM-1: 2025 Topps Stadium Club UFC
We have catalogued 5 versions of Ilia Topuria's Hype Machines #HM-1: the first card of the only 2025 Topps Stadium Club UFC insert created for the UFC, with no past in another sport. 4 have a photo of the actual copy.
What Hype Machines is and why Ilia Topuria is #HM-1
Hype Machines is a 20-card insert in 2025 Topps Stadium Club UFC, and Ilia Topuria opens the list as #HM-1, per the official Topps checklist. Being first does not make it scarcer: all twenty share the same parallel ladder.
Who shares it: Dustin Poirier (#HM-2), Sean O'Malley, Conor McGregor, Israel Adesanya, Alexander Volkanovski, Georges St-Pierre, Khamzat Chimaev, Paddy Pimblett and Charles Oliveira (#HM-20), among others, per the same official checklist.
An insert born in the UFC
Several 2025 Stadium Club UFC inserts revive classic Stadium Club designs, such as Beam Team or Dynasty and Destiny from 1990s basketball; Hype Machines does not: Checklist Insider (secondary source) presents it as an original insert, and we have not found it in any earlier Stadium Club.
Front: a shirtless Ilia Topuria flexing both arms overhead in gold gloves, on a holographic gradient background with “Hype Machines” repeated in small type and large letters behind him. At the bottom, his name, “Lightweight” and the Stadium Club logo.
Back: the same pose in greys, “HM-1”, his name and “Lightweight” at the top, “HYPE MACHINES” in large type and a single line: “Card from 2025 Topps Stadium Club UFC”. It says nothing about his career. That is how the photographed back of our base copy reads.
The HM-1 parallel ladder
The five rungs match those given by Checklist Insider (secondary source) and our catalogue. What changes from one to the next, in our photos, is the colour of the large background letters; the numbered ones carry the number at the bottom right:
The Black, Green and Gold Rainbow add up to 150 numbered HM-1s (99 + 50 + 1); the base and the Red, unnumbered, have no known print run. Our arithmetic.
Worth knowing
There are no official odds: with no Topps odds sheet in sight for this set, so we give no odds and no estimate for Ilia Topuria. The unnumbered Red cannot be placed against the Black /99.
We have not seen the Gold Rainbow 1/1: we know of no photo of the copy. 1 card carries on this list an AI-recreated image, marked as such, made from the Red.
