What a die-cut card is

A die-cut card leaves the press in a shape other than a rectangle: the die trims the edge, opens a hole or leaves a silhouette. Ilia Topuria's come in four kinds. The Topps Finest Die-Cut, a numbered parallel of the base and its inserts with a trimmed edge, plus the Fight Glove, a whole card shaped like a glove. The Stadium Club Triumvirate, three wavy-edged cards that fit together into one block. And the Metal Universe Champions E-X, the acetate insert with cut-outs. And the 2026 Topps Chrome Kings And Queens, with all four corners rounded like a playing card. This page brings them all together, and every count comes from our catalogue.

They cost more to make and more to find. The die is one more step on the press and makers keep it for short runs: in Finest the Die-Cut is numbered, /75, /50 or /25 by tier, and in 2026 Stadium Club UFC the base piece of the triumvirate comes 1 in 41 Hobby packs, per the official odds sheet. And they get damaged more, above all along the edges. On a die-cut what suffers most is not the corners but the cut edge: the die leaves a more fragile rim that chips and marks with handling, and a rigid sleeve made for a rectangle leaves a gap around the silhouette. So when buying a die-cut, check the whole outline in the photo and not just the four corners.

And it shows in the grades. Of the 44 graded copies of these cards in the PSA, SGC, CGC, Beckett and Arena Club population reports, 22.7% got a gem grade (the 10, or each company's equivalent); across Ilia Topuria's other cards from the same sets —same stock, same press— it is 46.7% of 467 copies. It is our own calculation on those reports and updates itself as new populations come in; the die-cut sample is small, so read it as a hint rather than a rule. But it points the same way as the edge: a high grade is harder to get on a die-cut, and that is why it is worth more than on a flat base card.

Why the E-X is here. It has no trimmed edge like a Die-Cut: it is a clear plastic card with a die-cut top layer, “a PETG back and a die-cut Rainbow Foil top sheet” in the words of the official e-Pack page. Transparencies and cut-outs: that is why we count it among the die-cuts.

2024 Topps Finest UFC: the Die-Cut Refractor, from the base to the inserts

The Die-Cut Refractor of 2024 Topps Finest UFC is a numbered parallel that exists in the base and in several inserts, always in Hobby packs only: the official Topps odds sheet gives it odds in the Hobby column and a dash under Mega and Value. Odds are per pack and for any fighter on the checklist; print runs, from Checklist Insider (secondary source), match the numbering on our cards.

2025 Topps Finest UFC: the Die Cut Refractor, this time without odds

In 2025 Topps Finest UFC the Die Cut returns in the three base tiers and in the inserts, but Topps published no odds: neither the official guide nor the official checklist carries frequencies. The guide does list the “Refractor Die-Cut” among the Golden Moments parallels. Print runs are from Checklist Insider and Cardsmiths, secondary sources: base Common #43 /75, Uncommon #115 /50 and Rare #241 /25, and in the inserts Golden Moments #GM-16 and Intimidators #IT-3, both /75. The Uncommon one is /50 in our catalogue and on the photographed copy; both secondary sources give /35, and here the card wins. 2025 Finest came out on 7 November 2025 in Hobby boxes only, 6 packs of 10 cards and 8 boxes per case, per the official Topps guide: with no Mega or Value, every 2025 Die Cut is a Hobby card.

2023 Panini Select UFC: the Die cut of Octagonside #250

Panini's only die-cut is the Die cut of Octagonside #250 from 2023 Panini Select UFC, a silver prizm with the corners trimmed along the cage frame. Cardboard Connection (secondary source) lists it as “Silver Die-Cut” among the Octagonside prizms, unnumbered; our catalogue marks it SP. Panini's official checklist names a “Silver Prizms Die-Cut” in Concourse and Premier Level, but for Octagonside it only records the base and four numbered ones (Blue Disco /49, Cracked Ice /8, Black 1/1 and Black Disco 1/1), and Panini published no odds. As in 2022, Octagonside is the short tier of the base: the 2022 #262 has its own page. The Hobby box carries two autographs and one relic, and the H2 box six prizms, per Cardboard Connection (secondary source).

2025 Stadium Club UFC: the triumvirate, three cards that form one block

Triumvirates is Stadium Club's three-piece insert: three die-cut cards of the same fighter that, placed together, form a larger image. In 2025 Topps Stadium Club UFC there are 18 cards, six fighters, and Ilia Topuria has #TV-13, #TV-14 and #TV-15, per the official Topps checklist; Checklist Insider (secondary source) describes it as “a case hit offering three different images of one fighter”. No odds: we have found no Topps odds sheet for this product and the official checklist carries none; the Hobby box is 16 packs of 8 cards and 16 boxes per case, released on 23 January 2026, per Checklist Insider (secondary source). The order is not the card number's: the card itself says which piece it is, and in 2025 it runs backwards, #TV-15 is 1/3, #TV-14 is 2/3 and #TV-13 is 3/3. That is how we order them, and each piece's card page shows all three together, with their real silhouette.

2026 Stadium Club UFC: Triumvirates Nicknames, the chrome triumvirate with parallels

In 2026 Topps Stadium Club UFC Ilia Topuria is not in the regular Triumvirates but in Triumvirates Nicknames, the chrome version carrying the fighter's nickname: 39 cards, thirteen fighters, and his are #TVN-10, #TVN-11 and #TVN-12, which together form “El Matador”, per Checklist Insider (secondary source; the official sheet lists no numbers). They have a page of their own with the full ladder; here, what matters to the die-cut. Official odds per piece, from the Topps sheet: Base 1:41 Hobby packs; Red 1:485 Hobby and 1:629 Mega; Black /99 1:406 Hobby, 1:1,478 Value and 1:346 Mega; Green /50 1:803, 1:2,927 and 1:684; Superfractor 1/1 1:40,150, 1:146,322 and 1:34,181. Print runs from Checklist Insider (secondary source), matching our catalogue. A whole block is three print runs: building “El Matador” in Green takes the three /50 pieces, and the block's Superfractor is three different 1/1s. With 39 cards and 1:41, one specific base piece comes once every 1,599 Hobby packs: our estimate.

2023 Metal Universe Champions: E-X, the acetate insert

E-X is a 50-card insert in 2023 SkyBox Metal Universe Champions, and Ilia Topuria is #EX-10, marked as a rookie, per the official Upper Deck checklist. Upper Deck describes it on its official e-Pack page as a card “with a PETG back and a die-cut Rainbow Foil top sheet”: a clear plastic back and a die-cut foil layer on top, with a curved band of colour and the rest see-through. The name and the parallels revive SkyBox's late-1990s E-X brand, layered acetate cards with “Essential Credentials” parallels numbered in their own way, per BaseballCardPedia (secondary source). Ilia Topuria's paper base card in this set is #14.

2026 Topps Chrome UFC: Kings And Queens, the playing card

Kings And Queens is an insert in 2026 Topps Chrome UFC, and Ilia Topuria is #KQ-10. It has no jagged edge and no cut-outs: the die rounds all four corners so it looks like a playing card, to match the insert's name. It is the subtlest cut on this page, which is why it pays to look closely when buying: a corner rounded at the factory is not a worn corner. Its card page draws the real silhouette; our catalogue lists only its base version.

How they move on the market

Of these 33 versions we have 455 confirmed sales; this page's data block says which sell most and which set they are in. What shows, with no figures we do not have: the ones with the most copies appear most —the regular E-X, the Finest glove and the base pieces of the two triumvirates— while those numbered /25 or lower and the Then /10 go whole seasons without surfacing. Two buying tips. Triumvirates are usually seen as single pieces, so building “El Matador” is three purchases and three different conditions. And on any die-cut, ask for a photo of the trimmed outline: a chipped edge lowers the price and the grade, and a silhouette has far more edge than a rectangle.

How to read this list

The counts describe our catalogue and update on their own when a card or a photo comes in. No photo yet, 3; 1/1 versions, 3. “No photo” means we have not seen a copy yet, not that it does not exist. Odds are per pack and for any fighter on the checklist; the per-card estimates are ours, odds times the size of the section. Print runs come from the numbering on the cards; when a secondary source differs, we say so and the card wins. The 1/1s on this page are also among the Ilia Topuria 1/1 cards.
