Ilia Topuria2022 Panini Instant UFC Fight Night checklist
Panini Instant is printed on demand to commemorate specific moments: each card goes on sale days after the fight and only what is ordered gets made. The 2022 cards follow Ilia Topuria's fights that season, his rookie year in cards.

Where his career stood
When this collection came out, in December 2022, Ilia Topuria's record was 12-0, 4-0 in the UFC, and he was not yet a champion. He was coming off a win over Jai Herbert by KO at UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Aspinall, on 19 March 2022. His next fight was UFC 282: Blachowicz vs. Ankalaev, against Bryce Mitchell, on 11 December 2022: he won by submission.
What 2022 Panini Instant UFC is
Panini Instant is Panini's print-to-order line: the card of a moment, on sale on its website for roughly a week after the event, with the run being what was ordered, printed on the back as “1 of N”. Ilia Topuria has two 2022 cards with the same ladder: base, Bronze /50, Versicolor /5 and Black 1/1.
- #23, “Topuria KOs Herbert in the Second Round”: UFC Fight Night of 19 March 2022, print run 394, printed the same week his Prizm rookie came out.
- #147, “Topuria submits Mitchell in the Second Round”: UFC 282, 10 December 2022; the back of our copy reads 1 of 91.
What gets confused
- “1 of 394” is not a serial number: every base copy carries it; only Bronze, Versicolor and Black are serialled.
- Panini does not publish the runs: they are copied from the back, which is why some checklists miss them.
- They print an RC shield, but the hobby's classic definition excludes print-to-order; the Ilia Topuria rookie cards page explains it.
How to read this page
